Timothy graduated from Queen’s University Belfast with a Master of Pharmacy degree in 2011. Following successful completion of pre-registration training, he returned to the School of Pharmacy to undertake a PhD under the supervision of Dr. Lorraine Martin and Prof. Brian Walker. His research involved the development of novel activity-based probes, targeting serine proteases associated with Cystic Fibrosis. Since completion of his PhD in 2015, he has been involved in the development of novel ProteaseTags® and their incorporation in activity-based immunoassays.
