K-Postn Immunoassay

A highly novel and patented bone-specific enzyme-linked immunoassay (ELISA) for the detection of K-Postn in serum samples.

Evidence has shown a potential role within the context of bone health for K-Postn. Specifically, serum levels of K-Postn have been shown to be positively associated with incident fractures in post menopausal women independent of various bone turnover markers, BMD and FRAX (Bonnet et al., 2017).

The K-Postn immunoassay product is comprised of the following:

1. Main kit box (58 cm x 38 cm x 35 cm); this should be stored immediately upon receipt at 4ºC (kit shipped on gel packs).
2. Freezer box [39 cm x 27 cm x 28 cm); this should be stored immediately upon receipt at -20ºC (kit shipped on dry ice).
