Dr Darragh McCafferty, ProAxsis’ Head of Assay Development, will be presenting new data on the company’s ongoing project to develop a quantitative version of its neutrophil elastase point-of-care test (NEATstik®) at the Irish Thoracic Society (ITS) annual conference, taking place in virtual format between the 19th-20th November.
Dr McCafferty will be presenting a poster, entitled “The Quantitative Measurement of Active Neutrophil Elastase in Sputum using a Point of Care Test and Reader Device”, during the E-poster Review & Discussion session on the 19th of November between 8am and 9am. This project is being conducted collaboratively with the Connected Health Innovation Centre (CHIC) team at Ulster University.
