Charlene Robb

Charlene obtained a MPharm degree from Queens University Belfast (QUB) in 2010 before completing pre-registration training and qualifying as a pharmacist in 2011. She returned to QUB to complete her PhD under the supervision of Dr. Lorraine Martin and Prof. Brian Walker. Her PhD focused on the development of a novel wound care treatment designed to sequester inflammatory proteases in chronic wounds. During her PhD she was awarded a Co-operative Award in Science and Technology (CAST) for collaboration between QUB and industry. Since gaining her doctorate in 2015 she has been involved in the commercialisation of immunoassays using ProteaseTag® technology.
