ProAxsis opens new office in Northern Ireland
Date : November 18, 2015
ProAxsis has opened its first office in the Lisburn Road area of Belfast. The company is a spin out from the School of Pharmacy at Queens University, and maintains laboratory facilities at the university, but has now acquired independent office space within close proximity.
Dr David Ribeiro, CEO of ProAxsis, said: “With our ProteaseTag™ Active NE Immunoassay now commercially available, and our follow-up point-of-care test (NEATstik™) well advanced in its development cycle, this is an ideal time for us to move in to our own office facilities. This is an important step in our goal to create a stand-alone company, and is an exciting development for the ProAxsis team in Belfast.”
ProAxsis is part of the NetScientific group and is one of the group’s core portfolio companies. The company is also supported by QUBIS, the commercialisation arm of Queens University.
